What is the best way to deal with anxiety?

I don't want to take medication.

Just like a gymnast practicing daily for a competition or an actor practicing every day for a performance, when you practice doing calming exercises every day, you give your body the skills it needs to perform really well, even when under stress. Breathing exercises, muscle relaxing, saying mantras, picturing calming scenes in your mind, and other technique can all help.

It depends what is causing it: try changing the circumstances that make you anxious. You might also learn about and use the "relaxation response," meditate, or study eastern techniques.

If medication is not an answer or not an option, then things such as therapy or breathing excersizes can be tried to relieve anxiety.

I believe that the best way to handle anxiety is by watching your diet, exercise (walking) and doing yoga. Yoga is a great way to deal with anxiety!
