What is the best movie-making software?

Try to use Nero's movie making software. If your project just needs some light editing, Nero will work fine. If it's an more advance project, use Pinnacle Studio 12.

For a class project it will be important, that the program is not too expensive because the pupils should be able to use the program even after the project by themselves. I suggest you to take Movie Maker or Magix Video Deluxe.

By far, Sony Vegas is rated as the highest in movie - making. It is also one of the most expensive, running at about $400. Windows movie maker is a free program that is installed on every pc made. If used right, this program can be just as good as Sony Vegas.
