You can fish for bass in the colder season but you need to change you technique. Fish will be slower and deeper down. So you need to jig for them.

There is plenty of winter bass fishing! Many ice fishermen target them, but if the lakes or streams aren't froze over there is surely to be hungry bass around. Bass fishing is generally best though in the spring and fall
