The standard for graphic manipulation software right now is Adobe Photoshop. There are others that are less expensive, but none that have the vast capabilities that Adobe Photoshop has. The current version is CS4.
Adobe Photoshop CS2. The previous versions of Adobe Photoshop had many bugs and issues that where fixed and patched in this version. Also, you will get new options to customize you images, not avalaible on the CS1 version. A must-have.
