My advice to you is to find a girl who you are interested in, who you have things in common with, and who you'd like to get to know better.

To find someone to date, look for girls in the clubs or school activities that you are in. Dating is so much easier if you both have some of the same interests. Girls still like flowers, even handpicked ones, and don't worry about being too corny because girls are very romantic and enjoy boys who are also.

There are some basic rules of engagement if you want to start dating. Some are unintuitive. One thing to remember is practiced disinterest. Girls are not super interested in men who seem really really into them. Women are odd, I know.
