Hello, Clockwork Orange is the "inofficial" name of the subway / tube / underground train in Glasgow. The train circulates through the town ( like a clock) and the colour of the train is orange.

The "Clockwork Orange" is the subway system that runs in a circle around Glasgow, Scotland. There are several versions of why it is called Clockwork Orange, but the most obvious reason seems to be that during the 1970's the cars were painted an orange color. Only travel guides call it the Clockwork Orange - the locals call it the Subway.

"Clockwork Orange" is an out-of-towner's nickname for the Glasgow Subway system. It seems to have been called that by a former chairman of British Rail, because of the (former) color of its cars and its (presumed) clockwork efficiency. This was after writer Anthony Burgess coined the phrase for his book, which became the movie.
