What are orange and black insects?

There are several insects that are orange and black, if they are long and skinny, mostly black with a small spot of orange they are boxelder bugs. Basically they are harmless and just shoo them back out of the house. You need to give a better discription of the bug if you want to be sure.

A little more description would be very helpful. Could be asian beetles or bach elder bugs. Possibly a butterfly which is also an insect that can be black or orange.
