Pink eye is a contagious infection that spreads when one person touches or rubs his or her eye, then touches the hands of another person, who then in turn touches his or her eye. It is temporary and usually lasts for x2 weeks if you DO NOT RUB THE EYE.

Technically called conjunctivitis, it is a highly contagious eye infection that turns the whites of the eye pink/blood shot. It must be treated with an opthalmic antibiotic.

Pink eye, also know as conjunctivitis, is an inflamation of the whites of the eyes and the eyelids. The cause is a virus, and the symptoms are watery discharge and swollen eyelids. Cold like symptoms may allso occur. It is important to see a doctor as antibiotics may be required.
