Depending on what motor you have it could mean two things. 1 governor pressure sensor offset voltage too high or low or 2 ECM detected the offset voltage was out of spec for more than 3 seconds. Most likely they its caused by a internal tranny failure or a short.

The error code, p1762 tells us there is a problem with the pressure sensor in the transmission of your Jeep. Changing this sensor could very well cure the problem - you can do this easily yourself if you are mechanically inclined, or take to your mechanic for diagnostics and service.

Recieving the error code P1762 means that the governor pressure sensor offset volts is too low or high. It's a transmission error code from recieving improper voltage of the governor pressure sensor. Usually replacing the sensor will fix the problem.

A faulty sensor is most likely the cause. Just to be on the safe side, have your mechanic look at the transmission, especially if you have filled it with fluid and the transmission seems to have problems with shifting, as this usually indicates a transmission issue. I'd have the sensor checked and replaced too.

This is a code for a misfire on the second cylinder. This code could mean there is a problem in this cylinder or it could be an error in the sensor that detects this data.
