Deja Vu is a feeling that a situation or experience has happened before. It gives a feeling of familiarity as if you are reliving the situation. Deja Vu is often attributd to dreams.
When you have a feeling that you have experienced a new experience, previously. It happens because of a problem with recollection, you may be recalling similar memories from your long term memory and intermixing them.
Deja vu means to see again. It is when you feel like something you are just seeing for the first time; that you have already seen it. Psychologist say it is because our brain is processing slightly slower than our eyes at that moment.
It is the odd feeling that we have already experienced the situation we are in, hearing the same sounds, seeing the same people, doing the same things. It is a common phenomenon in which the familiar feeling passes rather quickly.
