Can implantation bleeding occur the same day as the day your period is due?

I have some bleeding today and was hoping I was pregnant.

It is possible. In general, implantation bleeding occurs 6-12 days after ovulation. This happens after the egg attaches to the fallopian tubes. It can vary by person.

If it is time for your cycle and you are bleeding then most likely it is your period. Some people can be pregnant and still have periods but that is very rare.

Implantation bleeding usually occurs two weeks after conception. For most people, conception is two weeks after your last period. So, if you are on a regular cycle, this is possible.

You probably aren't pregnant. You can have some bleeding during ovualtion, but at this point, it is most likely the start of your period. However some people ovulate 2 times a month.

Implantation bleeding normally occurs seven to ten days after ovulation, so yes it can occur the dame day as your period is due. Keep in mind that implantation bleeding is very rare and not everyone will experience it and the bleeding is very minimal and often associated with cramping and brown blood.
