A calamanis is a shrub or fruit tree most often found in Southeast Asia. The fruit is called a acid, calamondin, and Panama orange. Often referred to as a kalamansi, they can grow up to six feet tall. The calamanis is actually a hybrid plant. Many times it is the result of a cross between a citrus and kumquat.

A calamansi is a type of orange fruit that is very similar to an orange itself. It's essentially a Phillipino Orange that is found in the Phillipines, and also found in Southeast Asia.
