Get out of the house! Take her to a romantic dinner and then get a hotel room. Sometimes a change of scenery can be a really good thing.

a friend of mine was taken to see her favourite band.... in Paris, which she really likes, it was a surprise until the day she was supposed to go but it went down a treat
