Since the couple hasn't been married long, they're probably going to want things they can use to set up the household. You can buy them some cookware, a vacuum cleaner, or gift cards to the supermarket. If they have a baby you can get some clothes or toys.

Good six month anniversary gifts should be sentimental rather than expensive. Have a photo of the two of you haveing a great time together framed, and write a love letter.
