Guinea pigs, like humans, can't manufacture their own vitamin C, so I would give your cavy extra C. They use more up when they are stressed, which includes during illness.

It is probably an Upper Respiratory Infection. Get your pig to a qualified exotics vet (who specialises in rodents) NOW for proper diagnosis and treatment with safe antibiotics as needed.

Guinea pigs very rarely show any cold symptoms before they are very ill. It is important to seek vet care when a guinea pig looks sickly. A vitamin C tablet, in a bottle of water, giving one drop in its food pellets a night is good preventative care though.

Take the pig to a qualified exotics vet, ASAP. It is probably a URI which can be fatal if not promptly treated with the correct pig-safe meds.
