A funfetti cake is a white cake with sprinkles in the batter. You can buy it at any grocery store and it is Pillsbury brand. If you want to make it at home you can just add sprinkles to a white cake.

Funfetti cake is the cake with the sprinkles included in the batter. This is available in boxes at the store, or you can modify your own white came recipe.

A "funfetti" cake is actually just a cake made with Pillsbury Funfetti Cake mix. It's basically a cake mix with sprinkles in the batter.

A funfetti cake is just like a regular cake but you have colored edible confetti sprinkles on it along with the icing. You can use vanilla icing, lemon icing or chocolate icing.

Basically, this is a white cake with multi-colored flecks (that look like confetti) in the batter and/or frosting. You can choose from several brands of mixes on the grocer's shelves for both the batter and frosting. The 'sprinkles' used in both the batter and frosting are larger and don't seem to disolve or melt when baked.
