What is a cat's reaction to being neutered?

A cat doesn't care. If you neutered a male cat by the time he's six months old, nobody will notice a thing. Cats are not like people.

A bit sleepy due to anaesthesia- a need for cuddling due to the trauma of having been in a strange place without you, and after that, not much at all. Usually calmer, more social, no tendency to wander (though cats are healthier and happier kept inside)- I think you will find a much better cat after he heals
