Common side effects of steroid use are increased appetite and urination and weight gain. Any other symptoms need to be addressed by your veterinarian.

You need to take your cat to a vet. If the vet gave you the steroids he needs to be aware of the adverse reaction. If you gave the steroids yourself without consulting a vet it could seriously hurt your cat.

When any animal has a reaction to a medication or food you should bring it immediately to the nearest vet's office. Pet Med companies or pharmacies DO NOT sell the drugs that counteract the reaction to anyone who doesn't have a vet's license. Bring your pet as soon as possible.

You should immediately contact your veterinary doctor. some times the symptom showing may not be because of the steroidal side effect it can be a symptom of heart disease, because cats are less adverse reactive to the steroids.
