A Bluetick is a Coonhound that has a glossy, not-quite-black coat that looks blue in some light. These dogs are large, athletic, friendly and easy-going, but a bored Bluetick is a destructive Bluetick. They also bay loudly, tend to chase small animals, and can be very stubborn.
