Having an appendectomy does not bother anything else in your body. The appendix is an entirely vestigial organ, with no function in body physiology.

the appendix is one of the most useless organs in the body. human evolution has rendered it unnecessary. it used to be a waste filter but with the way things are processed these days it has no use. most that could happen after its removal is a bad infection.

Long thought to be a totally useless organ, a vestigial remnant of our ancient ancestors, some scientists now say it produces endocrine cells in the fetus and young child. However, as an adult, nothing else in the body will be affected by having an appendectomy. You will no longer need to worry about having appendicitis.

If it's your appendix you can tell by this If you push down on your lower right abdomen it'll hurt terribly AFTER they release. If it doesn't it could also be gas, galbladder, cyst on ovaries, beginning of fertilization
