Lunges, squats, and running can all be effective for building strength in your legs. Add weights if necessary. Swimming can also help.

There are a variety of exercises to strengthen your legs, such as leg presses, squats with weights, lunges, leg lifts, etc. Running, biking, rollerblading, and walking will also strengthen your legs, but those exercises using weights are the best.
