What are some exercises which will strengthen my fingers and forearms?

I'm going to need extra strength in my fingers and forearms, as I'm beginning volleyball this year. What exercises will help me build strength and prevent injury?

Fingers there isn't a lot of exercises you can do, as the joint isn't very strong. For forearms, I would recommend forearm lifts, and a number of other exercise such as bicep curl and tricep curls and dips, as your forearms get a good workout from these (along with bench press).

To strenghten your hands and fingers squeeze a rubber ball. For your forearms you need arm curls, use a barbell that is 8 lbs, and roll your arm up to your chest.
