When sound waves are reflected from the surface along parallel lines, it's a phenomena known as Focusing. A flat parallel type of surface like a wall or cliff face gives a focused reflection of a sound (for instance, a horn blast from a nearby ship or a bell on a bouy).

Two types of sound waves are there. They are long waves and short ways. Both of the waves are reflected from the surface along parallel lines.
