What does it mean if the security indicator light on a chevy is blinking?

When the security indicator is flashing it is letting you know that there is a code stored in the system because of a past or pending problem. Have your vehicles theft system scanned for the codes.

Pretty much EVERY chevy that is equipped with a factory security system has a red light blinking inside the vehicle. This simply means that there is power to the system.

it could mean that its something wrong with airbag, o brake failure maybe, its hawr for me to translate due to that im swedish.

if the car starts fine then its just because u opened the door they do that or it is because the alarm is goin off if the car doest start
