Something has bitten you in the area adjacent to the aureola. Some critters find the hormonal excretions in this area conjoined with the blood and sweat accumulated there as irresistible. Certain nutrients can only be found in these superficial capillaries such as calcium, phosphate and other nitrate compounds. The critters may be insects or arachnids.

First are you a man or woman? Stinging sensations any where in the body usually refer to the central nervous system. Do you have diabetes? Many people with diabetes can get a 'pins and needles' sensation. It could also be caused by inflamation due to an injury or an underlying cyst. If it continues have it checked.

It could mean many different things. The best thing to do is go to your doctor but some causes are diabetes, sun burn, a cold, stroke and neuropathy.

The pain could be caused by hormone changes, injury, infection or ,in rare cases, cancer. Talk to your doctor about the pain. A mammogram can be run as well as a sonogram or biopsy. These procedures will help eliminate any serious causes of your pain. Depending on the cause medication may be prescribed or even a more supportive bra.
