You really could wear any type of shirt with these. The most common would probably be a t-shirt or a summery top. I would recommend a bright color for summer. Fun sandals will also make the outfit look sharp.

A white tank top looks great with white denim shorts! White matches about anything and denim is a material that doesn't conflict with many other materials so there are many options. Dressier tops could be worn , you could also wear a tee for a casual work.
