What do you think about giving dogs rice?

Feeding dogs rice is probably just fine, as long as it is not the only food they're eating. Rice is a starch like wheat or other grains which are probably in their dog food anyway.

Rice is a good food for dogs at it is easily digested and has tons of energy. Mixing it with oatmeal gives some fiber and dogs tend to love it if you mixed cooked hamburger no spices in any of it.

Rice is an acceptable grain to feed your dog; however, it doesn't replace a balanced diet. Dogs require a certain amount of protein. For diarrhea, vets recommend not feeding your dog for 24 hours and then feeding it a mixture of rice and cottage cheese for 3 days.

I think it's fine for dogs to eat rice. In fact, reading some dog food labels, you'll see there are quite a few types of dog food that include rice in the ingredients. My dogs haven't had a problem with it at all.

Rice is a common ingredient found in most dog food. Rice is healthy and safe to give to dogs, but not in abundance. Rice is great to give to your dog if he has an upset stomach. It can also be a good way to reward your dog.
