Try a saline spray. This is simply salt water in a nasal spray bottle. You can spray up his nose or tilt the bottle and drip some in. Letting him sit in the bathroom while running a hot shower will also help to clear his sinuses.

You should take him to the doctor to get medicine. Use a bulb syringe to suck out the snot from his nose so he can breathe. That's what is making him upset. Babies breathe through their nose a lot of the time. You can also purchase a humidifier which will help your son breathe better.

Other than continue to wipe it, there isn't much you can do. A lot of babies get stuffy noses, and unless he is exhibiting serious symptoms, you can give him baby tylenol and that is about it.

He won't like it, but try bulbing his nose. The key is to close one nostril with your finger and bulb the other. If the snot is thick, try a drop of saline or steaming him in a warm bath before bulbing.
