The term for an older lady who dates someone younger is a cougar. The idea of a cougar (a wild cat) chasing after her prey is where the term comes into play.

They call them cougars because they are on the prowl! They are looking for a young, hot guy to make them feel good. They are cougars because they find their prey and take over!
