Cars can sometimes develop frost on its lines, it is also known as icing. This happens when the car is ran for a long time, or at a high rate of speed, while the temperature setting is set very low inside the car. Fixing this is easy as all you have to do is set the air temperature to medium.

When the ac line is frosted it is sometimes normal. You should trouble shoot the system by checking the pressure in the expansion valves and compressor. If it is excessive freezing it could be clogged or defective.

You can cover it with an insulated foam pipe cover. This can be purchased at a home improvement store, just match up the size, cut and install. This will insulate which will prevent condensation which will prevent frosting.

If your AC line is frosted do not attempt to fix or resolve the problem yourself. Take it to a speicalist that has the experience in AC Compontants.

Really unless it is cracked or leaking I wouldn't worry about it. It probably just the refrigerant causing moisture to collect on the pipe. You could cover it with insulation.
