What could be causing my Dodge Ram to have low pressure on its ac line?

The most probable cause for low pressure in the air conditioning system is a slow leak in the line. There is a product called Stop Leak that you can put in the system that should clog small leaks. If that doesn't work, however, you'll probably have to replace the lines.

One thing for low pressure in your A/C line and most likely the reason would be a vacuum leak within the A/C system. another could be a failing Compressor

If the ac has low refrigerant pressure it usually indicates that there is some kind of leak in the system. IT can loose pressure over time though.

If it has low pressure, you have a leak. More than likely its the evaporator which is behind the grill and gets beat up by rocks and debris.

The only reason why a sealed line would have low pressure is due to a leak. The extra pressure escape through a bad connection or a worn seal.

A low pressure AC line on a car or truck like in this instance can be due to a small leak in the AC line. You should promptly have your entire AC system in your vehicle checked by a certified Auto AC professional to see if they can narrow down where the leak is.
