What could this blemish be that is just below my ankle bone, it is dark red, and not swollen?

The most likely diagnosis is a bruise. When the skin takes a hit, the blow crushes small capillaries in the skin. These bleed out into the surrounding tissue and discolor the skin. Bruises do not necessarily cause swelling, although they can if serious enough. If the problem persists, see a doctor.

Psoriasis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, or simple eczema could be the reason for a dark red rash or blemish around the ankle area.

It could just be a bruise from when it was hit really hard. It could also be a boo boo that has showed up because it hasn't seen you in a while and missed you.

It could be a contusion, which is a bruise under the skin. The dark red color could be a little dry blood. Contusions can take a couple of weeks to rise to the surface of your skin, which is why there is not pain or swelling.

If you were born with it, then it is merely a birthmark, sometimes known as a port stain. If it is recent,then it is a contusion.

It can be just a skin blemish/discoloration from the sun, or it could be the beginning of a skin cancer. Or even just a discolored mole. See a Dermatologist.

no i dont know about this pls if saw u ankle bone then i tell you what is the some time it is apeaer on cancer paticents then it seems that but if i see that then itell abot all the blemish and good to reffer doctor whats the ankle bone
