The bumps have been there for about 3 days and there are no other symptoms.

It could be fleas. Depends on how big the bumps are. It could also be a form of skin cancer. Take your pet to the vet if it doesn't go away soon.

He may just be having an allergic reaction to something like maybe a new shampoo, cleaning product or even new dog food or treats.

Most likely the bumps are from an allergic reaction from pollen or insect bites. However, there is a possibility that it is a staph infection.

It could be a reaction to something. Anything from the laundry soap you use or any plants that are around you house. Take you dog in to get checked.
