What could be wrong if my psp picture files keep saying they are corrupted?

it is possible that your pictures are in the incorrect format for the psp to be able to read. the psp can only read jpg, tiff, gif, png, and bmp file extentions. any other extention will show up as unreadable or currupt. Also you pictures could just be corrupt.

To be honest it could be that the memory stick is starting to fail. This tends to happen with flash memory as they have a certain amount of read/write cycles that they can handle. If the flash memory is ok then I would make sure you are running the latest firmware and if not then update it.

You could have a couple of problems. One problem could be that you are using illegal games that you downloaded to play on your psp. If that is it then don't worry, just buy the game. If that is not the problem then you might have a faulty laser.

i think your pictures are in bad format check the format of the picture pressent in the psp these pictures should be one of these formats jpg tiff png or gif and i think bmp is also supported

A lot of things, among problems with transferring the files from a pc to your psp, or reading them from a disk, or a virus, or problems with updating psp.

They are probably in the wrong format. Try looking at one from a different place and see if it works. If so convert the others to that format.

Maybe is your MS that have some problems. First of all,get all the files out,and format the Memory Stick with the build-in program in your PSP. After that,try to get the pictures in. If this is not functioning,format the MS with windows - at least five times in slow mode.

The problem could be that it is the wrong file size resolution or could also be in another format other than jpg
