What makes you limp it could make a dog limp. You could carefully run your hand down from the shoulder to the paw (if biting isn't a problem). Sensitive spot? Or check the paw for foreign matter (thorns and such). If it looks serious, or persists, call a Veteranarian.

Have you changed the dogs food the last days? Take the old dog food. Did your dog have stress the last 4 weeks? If so, this could cause your dog limping his paws. Check the skin of your dog.You have to check the whole body, because a dog limping paws if it cannot reach the hurting zone .

He may have stepped on something and there may be a cut under his paw. Or perhaps he has sprained it while out running and playing.

A limping dog can obviously occur due to the dog having problems with his paw or leg hurting but also a dog will often limp in response to get attention from others. It's kind of like what humans do at times for pity or just to feel noticed.
