What color paint goes with light wood furniture?

I would suggest a lighter colored paint as this would compliment the light wood. A darker paint would overshadow the light wood. A darker color would also make the room look smaller whereas the lighter color would give the room a larger and brighter appearance along with the lighter wood furniture.

Its would be up to the person picking the colors. Dark colors would go good if you have a big room. It makes the bigger rooms smaller looking. With the smaller rooms i would go with a lighter color to make the room look bigger and bring the color out in the furniture.
