In 95% in the same color as a door. The most popular are white for in side doors. For commercial they are different a little. I saw white and gray. Probably because a commercial are a metal door.They need some anti rust paint primer. Same a residential doors but they are made from wood and need different primer and paint.

Usually you would paint the door frame the same color of the woodwork. Usually white or ecru. It is usually done in gloss paint which makes it easier to keep clean.
