It's a compact pickup, which was rebadged as the Tacoma in NA. It is extremely reliable. The 2007 version has 236 horsepower with a 4 liter engine.

The Hilux is possibly the world's toughest vehicle. Top Gear took a Hilux and drowned, wrecked, set on fire and dropped it off a building- and it still ran.

The Toyota Hilux is not yet available in the United States. It is the non-US version of the Tacoma. The diesel can get 30-35 MPG.
