Labile blood pressure, also known as borderline hypertension, is a condition in which the blood pressure is sometimes in the normal range and sometimes in the hypertensive range. Labile hypertension fluctuates abruptly and repeatedly causing symptoms such as headache and ringing in ears. People with this type of hypertension often respond to emotional stress with a rise in blood pressure.
