What can you tell me about chickens and diarrhea?

Some of then get diarrhea if they eat anything with grease. And some of them just get diarrhea from regular chicken feed. It should also be cleaned up because they will eat their diarrhea and get sick.

Speaking as a chicken owner I can say it is messy and a pain to deal with. Diseases or giving them the wrong kind of food can cause it. If they have only had regular feed (nothing different), check with your vet they may be sick.

Chickens like all birds will have running feces. This a common and not a cause for concern. Unlike mammals birds metabolism is different. They do not have seperate excretions for their urinary and GI tracts. Their "poop" and "pee" comes out of the same orafice in a runny mass. They will not have solid feces.
