You need to get an antifungal cream for your dog, as well as possibly a medicated shampoo or dip. A lot of fungus on the skin can turn into ringworm, so you'll want to get it taken care of.

Depending on the type of fungus, there are many shampoos for dogs that are made espcially for treating a dogs coat. Check with your vet or local pet store for the product that is right for your dog.

You can try using selsun blue, which helps with fungus on human skin. On dog's skin you might want to use the not concentrated type. It does contain mental.

I would call a few vet offices and ask for advice over the phone. They often will offer help without an appointment. Also, look up the benefits of coconut oil. Definitely safe for dogs and may potentially help the spot to heal. Good luck.
