What can I do to help my dog that is loosing hair on its belly. tail, legs and h has red blotches?

First bath your dog in an oatmeal pet shampoo for immediate relief. Second apply a topical flea repellenst, flea bites can cause this reaction. Third, try switching dog foods. There are several fish based formulas, the omega 3s help with the skin dryness. There are also rice free formulas which contain more oils.

First, you'd better make sure your dog does not have fleas that causes this type of reaction. If it does, get yourself some Frontline and medicate that dog.

Your dog needs medical attention. The symptoms could be caused by mange, mites an allergic reaction, or a dietary concern. Only a trained vet can give an accurate diagnosis.
