These things do not fall over by themselves! You need to install sensitive security lights so that when an animal or person(could be a teenager! ) comes into your yard, the light switches on and scares the would be intruder off your property.

Keep them away from the booze. Gnomes are notorious drinkers and liable to over imbibing whenever they get the chance.

If your gnome is made of blown plastic or ceramic, you should be able to fill with sand through the hole in the bottom, then plug or tape over the hole. If resin, you could use silicone to glue it to a base.

If your garden gnomes have holes in their bottoms, you can pound a stake or piece of rebar into the ground far enough that they only stick up a few inches and then position the gnomes so that the stake or rebar goes up the hole.

To stop the garden gnomes from falling over, push them way down in the dirt, so they have some dirt keeping them up, or put weights on the bottom of the gnome to keep it upright.
