Place the puppy in a napcrate with door open. Give treat each time puppy enters the crate on its own. Soon the puppy will associate the crate with a reward.

If it is the only dog in the house, but an alarm clock in bed with it. Making sure to turn the alarm part off. If not, try exercising it.
