The skin on my shin is shiny.
Answer by melissaweiss (71)
This is caused by too much oil on the skin. You can simply rub a dryer sheet on your shin before you go out, it will soak up the oil.

Shiny skin is usually due to dry, tight skin. Moisturize well with a thick moisturizer right after a shower to rehydrate the skin.

Apply a mixture of oat powder, yoghurt, honey and a few drops of lemon to your skin and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off with luke warm water.

Don't over wash your skin, 2 times a day is more then enough. Find an oil free moisturizer and the skiny skin will go away.
