How can I relieve shin cramping?

I get shin cramping after every run.

Cramping is usually a problem with hydration, however, shinsplints or shin cramping is usually a sign of shoes that are not providing enough support or cushion during running.

To releive skin cramping after running would be to make sure to do light stretches before the run. When you complete each run do a light cool down stretch also.

Do shin exercises to strengthen the muscles. There are several websites with many shin exercises, so look those up. Other than that, you may have bad running form. Make sure you are not running flat footed or with a heel first landing. You should be running on the balls of your feet. Talk to a trainer to check your form.

Before you go for a run and before your stretching routine, apply a base layer of Icy Hot followed by a thin layer of Capsaisan. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times before getting the full effect but hang in there its guaranteed to work
