The absolute best thing you could do is take the jacket to a professional dry cleaner for martinization. This method uses a chemical process to clean the leather. Another great strategy is to clean your jacket with wipes intended for leather furniture, but that will take several passes before the odor is out.

You can put baking soda on the jacket and let it sit for a couple hours. After that you can add a little vinger to a cloth and wipe.

Lysoform Pass (buy at supermarket), dilute a capful to half a liter of water (not pure pass both the smell and the product is strong), let dry and wipe again (do not rub, just feeling the cloth on the leather) then rub Vaseline , used to treat leather If you do not find the lysoform, use detergent diluted with water.

Take the leather jacket to the dry cleaners. They have special chemicals to treat leather and to remove unpleasant odors.

Removing stains from leather is not easy. Better go and buy a stain & odor remover and apply it. It is a simple solution. But it is not recommant for leathar.
