lying on your back, raise one leg, hold it for ten to fifteen seconds and repeat it for five to ten times. same procedure lying on your stomach. sitting on the chair, raise the leg by resting the thigh on the chair.

If your knees are good, deep knee bends work those muscles great. Grab something in each hand if you want to add some weight.

You can't really spot tone or target tone. At home you can do these:jumping jacks, burpees, squats and lunges. These engage the whole body and get the heart rate up. These exercises at the same time strengthen the thighs and buttocks. YOu can also do plies (like ballet dancers)

Squats and lunges are good exercises for those muscles. If you do them while holding light weights, they are even more effective.

I use two exercises at home to tone my thighs and buttocks without the use of equipment. Lunges and jumping squats should do the job.
