It depends on what s/he did to warrant the action. If you're still his/her friend, you could fill their pillowcase with gingko berries since they have a terribly foul odor that will ruin their bedsheets and pillowcases. If not, you could just be passive aggressive.

Sending them animal poop in the mail is always good. If you don't have a pet, you can offer to walk a neighbor's dog or hang out at a dogpark.

ignore the person 100 percent. If you put a ton of effort into getting even with this person then they will think you have nothing better to do with your time.

Depending on what happened, you can either be nice or mean. It's better just to make your point without being nasty. Just tell them what you want to tell them.
