What are the top strategies for Halo 2 multiplayer?

From what I've seen online, it seems the best strategy is to keep moving and jumping a lot! Memorizing every part of a map also helps. Whatever you do, just keep moving and jumping!

I think that a good strategy is to just run and gun (running and shooting at the same time). I think best weapon set to have are the rocket launcher (who doesn't want an explosive weapon?) and the shotgun. (so if someone lunges at you with the energy sword, you can drop them.)

i always try rushing them when you only have to face 4 or less enemies. But when you come up with more a good tacktic would be, hide trow plasma granade run to left or right while shooting and hide again. This will do a low amout of damage but its a way to deal with a lot of enemies.

The battle rifle is great if you know how to use it you need to practice with it and try to do the a combo that is pressing B next to a guy to hit him then X to cancel the punch and then R to shoot him.

Always stay close to walls. The center of the map makes you vulnerable from a lot of angle. Always try to go on higher ground so u'll have the advance of seeing more map and more enemies quickly

Top strategies are to stay low. dont rush into combat. reload all the time. dont go in battle if you do not have enough ammo for a fight.

teh answer is really a personal thing. you may have more luck with the run up shoot everything that moves. But you may also have better luck with sitting back in cover and picking people off with a sniper rifle. It all depends on your personal way of playing

Find a spot where you can put your back to a wall and see anyone coming at you. Try to find somewhere above the other players so they can't fire back.
